Softball Recap: Piscataquis Takes a Loss

Piscataquis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 17-7 to the Searsport Vikings.

Piscataquis' loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Searsport, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

Coming up, Piscataquis will face off against Central at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Searsport, they will challenge Bucksport at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Bucks have averaged an impressive 10.7 runs per game this season.
