Coffee County Central came tearing into  Thursday's  matchup with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Lincoln County Falcons get on the board and left with  a   4-0  victory. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  8-1  victory  on Wednesday.
The result came thanks to  Lily Norman's shutout, as she gave up just five  hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Coffee County Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jalyn Moran, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Coffee County Central pushed their record up to 24-12 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Lincoln County, their loss dropped their record down to 17-15-2.
As of now, neither Coffee County Central nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
