Football Recap: Chicago Sullivan's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chicago Sullivan won the last time they faced Lake View, and Payton Pope did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 58-46 on Friday with plenty of help from Pope, who picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 75 yards.

One reason for the win was Chicago Sullivan's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Kaleb Hardy was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Another thorn in Lake View's side was Lawerence Benson, who picked up a sack, made ten total tackles, and defended one pass.

The victory was the third in a row for Chicago Sullivan, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 48.7 points this season. As for Lake View, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
