Baseball Recap: Millard North Mustangs vs. Gretna East Griffins
Millard North faced Gretna East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Griffins. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Noah Gartner tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
