It was a good run, but New Covenant Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 50-38 to Harrisburg Christian. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flames this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-36 back in December of 2024.

New Covenant Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Talan VanderPloog, who posted 14 points. Levi Heckard was another key player, putting up eight points.

New Covenant Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for Harrisburg Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9.

New Covenant Christian has already played their next game, a 57-30 victory against Fairfield on the 3rd. As for Harrisburg Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-73 win against Lititz Christian on the 3rd.
