Soccer Game Preview: Columbia Central vs. Coffee County Central

The Columbia Central Lions will take on the Coffee County Central Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Columbia Central is headed into Thursday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since September 11. They and Lincoln County finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Coffee County Central didn't have quite enough to beat Giles County on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Columbia Central's draw makes their record 9-3-4 this season. As for Coffee County Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1.

Columbia Central took their win against Coffee County Central when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 6-1 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
