Volleyball Recap: Shamokin Area Indians vs. Berwick Bulldogs
Shamokin Area and Berwick squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Shamokin Area had to settle for second. They came up short against the Berwick Bulldogs, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Indians haven't been shut out since back in September.

Berwick's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julia Rauch, who had four kills, four digs, two aces, and a block. Rauch has been hot , having also posted 17 or more assists the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Grace Robbins, who had seven aces, five kills, and a block.
With the loss, Shamokin Area broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3. As for Berwick, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-4.
