Baseball Recap: Ridgefield Comes Up Short

Ridgefield lost against Ludlowe back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 6-3 to the Falcons. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Falcons since on Saturday.

Ridgefield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Ludlowe, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgefield will head out to challenge Greenwich at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ludlowe, they will challenge Stamford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Black Knights will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
