The Madison-Grant Argylls's 17-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oak Hill. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Madison-Grant in their matchups with Oak Hill: they've now lost six in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Madison-Grant lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Clayton Hull. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mavrick Griffin, who scored 14 points.
Oak Hill found their leader in underclassman Jace Tonagel, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Levi Trexler was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Madison-Grant has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Oak Hill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.
