Adding to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week, Valor Christian beat Fairview 56-16. This was the team's 12th consecutive win.
Valor Christian took down the Knights 56-16 last week, the largest margin of any game. A.J. Cecil threw for 246 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 65 yards in the win.
Rod Sherman's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Christian McCaffrey contributed 129 yards. Marcus Wilson helped Valor Christian's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 64 yards.
He was 15-16 with 1 interception.
McCaffrey was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 129 yards on 12 carries as the Eagles beat Fairview. Cecil also contributed to the rushing game with 65 yards on the ground.
Valor Christian's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cecil has thrown for 2,220 yards and 33 touchdowns this season, while McCaffrey has 39 catches for 721 yards.
