Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Valley was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell 4-1 to the University Bulldogs. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley now has a losing record of 9-10. As for University, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Valley will head out to take on Forge Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fury will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for University, they have already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Platte Valley on the 1st.
