Basketball Game Preview: Lexington Minutemen vs. Knob Noster Panthers

Lexington has won six straight games at home, while Knob Noster has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Lexington Minutemen will host the Knob Noster Panthers at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Lexington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.

Lexington is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They breezed by Concordia to the tune of 71-41. The Minutemen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 30 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Knob Noster didn't have too much trouble with Lutheran on Tuesday as they won 41-26.

Lexington has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Knob Noster, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Lexington came up short against Knob Noster in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 62-55. Can Lexington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
