Soccer Recap: Washington-Marion's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Beauregard, Washington-Marion was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Peabody Warhorses onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Charging Indians as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Washington-Marion's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10. As for Peabody, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Washington-Marion's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Peabody, they are taking a road trip to take on Delta Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Peabody is facing Delta Charter at the right time seeing as Delta Charter is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
