Baseball Recap: Syracuse Victorious

Syracuse won the last time they faced Weber and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Titans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Caleb Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Syracuse is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 5-15 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Bronx Manning was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Burkon Beus was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs.

Syracuse's record is now 8-15. As for Weber, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season.

As of now, neither Syracuse nor Weber have any future games scheduled.
