There's no place like home for Cambria Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels with a sharp 17-8 victory on Friday. The matchup marked the Highlanders' most dominant win of the season so far.

Cambria Heights got a massive performance out of Margaret Elias, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5. Elias has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Ellie Bender was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Cambria Heights now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Moshannon Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
