Volleyball Recap: Oakland's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oakland had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oakland Tech Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

While Oakland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-22.

Oakland's record is now 18-6. As for Oakland Tech, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Oakland will challenge rival Madison Park Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oakland Tech is set to take on their familiar foe Coliseum College Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
