Volleyball Recap: Mobile Christian Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mobile Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Houston Academy Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Leopards sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Mobile Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-12.

Mobile Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Melissa Patel out in front who had 20 digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Lawson, who had 12 digs.

Mobile Christian's victory bumped their record up to 29-10. As for Houston Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 37-10.

Mobile Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against St. Luke's Episcopal on the 23rd. Houston Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
