Volleyball Recap: Leroy-Ostrander Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

LeRoy-Ostrander entered their tilt with Houston on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 2-0. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Hurricanes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Miranda Nagel paced LeRoy-Ostrander's offense, picking up 11 kills. Nagel got some help from Meah Stevens and her 22 assists. Maria Almaraz-Nolt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Houston still got an impressive performance from Olivia Yohe, who had 11 digs and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Averie Evanson, who had three digs and two aces.

LeRoy-Ostrander's record is now 5-8. As for Houston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

LeRoy-Ostrander wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Wabasha-Kellogg on the 13th. As for Houston, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Kingsland on the 13th.
