Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goliad). They blew past the Mathis Pirates 41-21 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won five in a row.

Goliad's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mathis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
