Basketball Recap: Upland Takes a Loss

Upland suffered their closest loss since November 26th on Saturday. They fell just short of the La Salle Lancers by a score of 46-43. The Highlanders/Scots just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Upland's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for La Salle, they moved to 4-11 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Upland will be taking part in a tournament against Durango at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday. La Salle and Hart will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Hart knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully La Salle likes a good challenge.
