Basketball Recap: Webb City Takes a Loss

Webb City was the 75-47 winner over Poplar Bluff when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Webb City Cardinals fell just short of the Poplar Bluff Mules by a score of 50-48 on Thursday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Webb City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Poplar Bluff, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Webb City won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Chrisman at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Webb City is facing Chrisman at the right time seeing as Chrisman is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Poplar Bluff, they will challenge West Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
