Softball Recap: Eisenhower Cadets vs. Wenatchee Panthers

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 17-10 walloping at the hands of the Wenatchee Panthers. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

Zoe Niblett led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-5 with a triple, a stolen base, and a double. Another player making a difference was Zabella Hickenbottom, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

On Wenatchee's side, Sophia Smith was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Makinley Cardona, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wenatchee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
