Basketball Recap: Rochester Area HomeSchool Triumphs

Rochester Area HomeSchool won the last time they faced First Baptist and things went their way on Saturday too. Rochester Area HomeSchool came out on top against the First Baptist Crusaders by a score of 35-27.

Despite the loss, First Baptist still got an impressive performance from Lydia Wynja, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 19 boards. That's the most rebounds Wynja has posted since back in January of 2024.

Rochester Area HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for First Baptist, they moved to 9-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Rochester Area HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for First Baptist, they will head out to face off against Community Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. First Baptist's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Community Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
