Baseball Recap: Monache Triumphs

Monache won the last time they faced Orange Cove and things went their way on Friday too. The Monache Marauders came out on top against the Orange Cove Titans by a score of 10-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Marauders.

The team relied heavily on Lewis Green, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, five RBI, and two runs. Hudsen Watts was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Monache's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Orange Cove, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Monache will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Strathmore at 3:30 p.m. on March 7th. As for Orange Cove, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory against Dos Palos on the 4th.
