Volleyball Recap: York Comes Up Short

York was the 2-0 winner over Downers Grove North when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Dukes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Tuesday. The Dukes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

York might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Downers Grove North: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23.

York's loss dropped their record down to 23-11. As for Downers Grove North, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

York will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln-Way East at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Downers Grove North, they will welcome St. Charles East at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
