Morgan hadn't done well against Maysville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Raiders came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 10-6. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Jude Garber, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Aaron Baker was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Morgan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Maysville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
