Volleyball Recap: Plano East Takes a Loss

Plano East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Rockwall Yellowjackets. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

While Plano East ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

Plano East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rockwall, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Plano East is set to take on their familiar foe Allen at 6:45 p.m. on April 10. Meanwhile, Rockwall will square off against rival Dallas Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
