Baseball Recap: Rancho Bernardo Takes Down Torrey Pines in a Playoff Battle

Rancho Bernardo extended their postseason success on Friday against Torrey Pines. They never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Rancho Bernardo got a great performance from Christopher Bayne as he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Bayne has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Owen Glick was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Rancho Bernardo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Torrey Pines only posted a batting average of .259.
