Basketball Recap: Anacoco Comes Up Short

Anacoco was the 66-54 winner over Pitkin when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Anacoco Indians took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pitkin Tigers on Tuesday.

Anacoco's defeat dropped their record down to 20-20. As for Pitkin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anacoco will face off against Hicks at 5:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Pitkin, they will square off against St. Edmund at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
