Softball Recap: Green Run Takes a Loss

Green Run fell victim to Kempsville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 16-0. That's two games in a row now that the Stallions have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Green Run's defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kempsville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Green Run is taking a road trip to take on Norfolk Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kempsville, they will take on Landstown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
