Softball Recap: Miller School of Albemarle Comes Up Short

Miller School of Albemarle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stuarts Draft Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mavericks of the 11-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Lily Pallante made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles.

Miller School of Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Stuarts Draft, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

Miller School of Albemarle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stuarts Draft, they will take on Buffalo Gap at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
