Basketball Recap: Summit Country Day Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Summit Country Day can now relate to. The contest between the Summit Country Day Silver Knights and the Mariemont Warriors didn't end well, with the Summit Country Day Silver Knights falling 49-31. The Silver Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Summit Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Mariemont, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home.

Summit Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mariemont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-37 loss against Versailles on the 22nd.
