Softball Recap: Lee Central Comes Up Short

Lee Central fell victim to Lewisville and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 18-0 to the Lions. The loss continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Lee Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennadie Holloman, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Lee Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lewisville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lee Central will challenge rival Midlands STEM Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lewisville is set to square off against their familiar foe McBee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lewisville 1.4, McBee 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
