Howell came tearing into Thursday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Davison Cardinals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 on Wednesday.
