Volleyball Game Preview: Ceres Bulldogs vs. Grace Davis Spartans

The Ceres Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Grace Davis Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Grace Davis took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ceres, who comes in off a win.

Ceres will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Pacheco, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. Ceres blew past Pacheco 3-0 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Grace Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Livingston.

While Grace Davis was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Livingston's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12, 25-15.

Grace Davis' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ceres, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Ceres beat Grace Davis 3-1 in their previous meeting on March 12th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ceres since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
