Baseball Recap: Cleveland Victorious

Cleveland lost to Humble back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Cleveland Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Humble Wildcats 11-10. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by just one run.

The team relied heavily on Ryland Hamilton, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Chase Stuckey, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The victory made it two in a row for Cleveland and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will take on Spring Woods in a tournament on Thursday. As for Humble, they will be taking part in a tournament against Clear Lake at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
