After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph, Ridgeview was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over the Arvin Bears. The Wolf Pack haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Joel Gutierrez and Mason Refuerzo did most of the damage at the plate: Gutierrez went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Refuerzo scored a run while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Gutierrez has posted since back in April of 2024. Alex Trujillo also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Arvin is facing Taft at the right time seeing as Taft is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
