Volleyball Recap: South Forsyth Falls to Johns Creek in First Game of Season

South Forsyth had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Johns Creek Gladiators. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20.

Ava Erickson paced South Forsyth's offense, picking up four kills. Erickson got some help from Avery Russell and her six assists. Russell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

South Forsyth will take on River Ridge in a tournament on Friday. As for Johns Creek, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Pace Academy on the 7th.
