Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chester Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Chester, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Cleveland will face off against Grand Oaks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chester, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hudson on the 23rd.
