Football Game Preview: Wildwood Wildcats vs. Hardee Wildcats

Wildwood will venture away from home to take on Hardee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wildwood has given up an average of 35.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Wildwood was beaten by Lafayette 42-13. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Hardee, as they earned their first away win of the season. They managed a 26-20 victory over Moore Haven last Friday. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Wildwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hardee, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything went Wildwood's way against Hardee in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Wildwood made off with a 28-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wildwood since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
