Basketball Recap: West Clermont's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

West Clermont has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walnut Hills Eagles on Monday. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

West Clermont's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-4. As for Walnut Hills, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

West Clermont will challenge Loveland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walnut Hills, they will take on Winton Woods at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
