Basketball Recap: Webster Schroeder Comes Up Short

Webster Schroeder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monroe Red Jackets. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Jackets from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Webster Schroeder's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Monroe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Webster Schroeder and Monroe could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 547th) will meet Fairport (ranked seventh) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Monroe will face off against Lyons at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (249 vs. 97).
