Softball Recap: Bath Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bath can now relate to. They lost 19-2 to the Clear Fork Colts on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since April 14th.

Bath saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Rex, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Bath's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Clear Fork, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7.

Bath does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clear Fork, they will take on Bryan at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Bears have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
