Basketball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Comes Up Short

Wonewoc-Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brookwood Falcons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-33 back in December of 2024.

Wonewoc-Center's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Brookwood, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Wonewoc-Center will be playing at home against Weston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Ithaca at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
