West Alameda County - Mission Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Matthew Forbes Goes Supernova in Irvington Victory

Matthew Forbes was instrumental in extending Irvington's winning streak to six on Friday. Forbes did his part (and then some), rushing for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Washington's probably not too fond of Forbes given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Forbes saw the Huskies), he rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.
