Centennial turns things around after tough road loss

Recap: Centennial Coyotes vs. Casa Grande Cougars
There's no place like home for the Centennial Coyotes, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against Casa Grande by a score of 41-30 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Centennial also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Centennial had a senior duo take command as Akasha Prpich scored 15 points and Kaleia Young scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Jolie Galbreath was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Casa Grande, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will take on Fairfax at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfax is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Casa Grande won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Youngker at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th. Hopefully Youngker focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Thursday.
