Baseball Recap: Presque Isle Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Presque Isle waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Fort Kent Warriors get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 23-2 last Wednesday.

Brandon Porter was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lane Carmichael, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Presque Isle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Kent only posted an OBP of .273.

Presque Isle's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Fort Kent, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Presque Isle will square off against John Bapst Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Kent, they will host Wisdom at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
