Football Game Preview: Kamiak Knights vs. Glacier Peak Grizzlies + Official Tickets

Kamiak hasn't had much luck against Glacier Peak recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Knights will face off against the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Kamiak has given up an average of 26.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kamiak is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Lake Stevens on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Knights were beaten by the Vikings 49-6. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Vikings are ranked second).

Kamiak might have lost, but man, Jayden Harris was a machine: he rushed for 182 yards and one touchdown. Harris' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, Glacier Peak had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 50 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Timberwolves 54-0. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 39 points or more this season.

Kamiak's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Glacier Peak, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Things could have been worse for Kamiak, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-14 loss to Glacier Peak in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
