Basketball Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes a Loss

Berkeley Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 70-52 fall against the GVCS Broadfording Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-46 back in December of 2024.

Berkeley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for GVCS Broadfording, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: GVCS Broadfording beat Berkeley Springs by a score of 70-52 on Monday.
