After losing to The Villages Charter the last time they met, South Lake decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles blew past the Buffalo 4-1 on Thursday. Considering South Lake have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit The Villages Charter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josh Smith, Renzo Candioto, David Bustamante, and Matthew Connelly.

South Lake pushed their record up to 5-0-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three matches. As for The Villages Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

South Lake and The Villages Charter will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Eagles see the pitch they'll take on Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for The Villages Charter, their break will end when they face Lecanto at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
